The short version
This landing page sets no advertising or analytics cookie until you choose to allow it. If you reject, nothing beyond what the page needs to function is loaded, and the page still works completely.
What this page loads by default
- The page itself, its stylesheet, its images, and one self-hosted font file. All are served from this domain.
- No third-party fonts, no third-party scripts, no tag manager, no advertising network.
- Before you make a privacy choice, no advertising or campaign-attribution storage is written. After your choice, one local-storage record remembers it so we do not ask again on every page.
What loads only after you accept
- Meta Pixel. Loaded from Meta only if you grant advertising consent. It can record page views and checkout activity and may set the
_fbpand_fbccookies. - Campaign attribution. Campaign parameters from the link you arrived on can be held temporarily in session storage and forwarded to checkout only after you grant advertising consent. They are cleared when you reject or close the tab.
This landing page's own Meta Pixel integration does not provide Meta with your name or email address, and it does not send the contents of the sample you read. It can send advertising identifiers, browser and device information, the page visited, and actions such as viewing the book or beginning checkout.
Purchases
Checkout, payment processing, order administration, and digital delivery are handled through Shopify and its service providers. When you buy, Shopify processes details such as your name, contact details, billing information, payment status, order details, technical identifiers, and any information needed for fraud prevention, tax, fulfilment, and customer support. See Shopify's consumer privacy notice.
Where advertising data sharing is permitted by your consent and applicable law, Shopify's Meta integration uses the Meta Pixel, advanced matching, and the Conversions API. It may send Meta purchase and checkout events together with identifiers such as your email address, name, telephone number, location, IP address, browser information, and order value so Meta can match events, measure advertising, and attribute purchases. Meta receives this data under its own terms and privacy policy. You can withhold or withdraw advertising consent without losing the ability to purchase the book.
Legal basis
- Consent for advertising. You give it freely, and you can take it back at any time without losing access to anything.
- Contract for processing needed to deliver a purchased file and to provide replacement downloads.
- Legitimate interests for keeping the site secure and functioning.
Changing your mind
Use cookie settings at any time, or the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent stops future advertising events and clears the advertising cookies this site set.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing. You can also complain to your national data protection authority. Email samuel.alejandro@refura.eu to make a request.
Retention
Order and transaction records are kept only as long as needed to perform the contract, provide support, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet accounting, tax, and other legal obligations. Advertising-consent records and campaign data are kept only for their stated purposes and can be withdrawn through cookie settings.
